If you are suffering (or at risk of suffering) from domestic violence, you can speak to one of our qualified counsellors
who will be able to offer help and support. We know that women sometimes feel unable to speak to someone about the abuse they are suffering. For example, they might blame themselves or be afraid of the person responsible for the abuse. Our counsellors will listen to you with respect and will not judge you.
The counselling sessions will provide a safe and confidential environment for you to express your feelings and fears, and help you break the isolation of domestic violence. We are also able to support women suffering other forms of abuse such as genital mutilation or women being forced into prostitution. For men suffering abuse, we can refer you to other services that can offer you support. We work with a range of partners and volunteers and will refer you to partner services where this is appropriate.
